The Answer

I awoke this morning with the words to the above song drifting from my heart.  As I rose up from the bed I began to quietly sing the words and think about how those lyrics had rung true over the last few years for my wife and I.  Jesus has definitely been our answer in the midst of all the potentially devastating turns that our lives have taken.  He has been our way when our skies were darkened, when peace was hard to find, when discouragement continually banged on our door, and when others told us that the mountains we were facing were too impossible to climb.

We have come to know without a doubt that the Word of God is true, and that everything that He’s promised He will do for us.  The good news is that He is not only our answer but yours as well!  If everything else has failed, turn to Him and His word today!  He is the way, the truth and the light.  And just as He answered me with an overwhelming sense of His love as I stood at the side of our bed at 4:00 AM early this morning praying for God’s wisdom and His peace, He will be there for you in your darkest and loneliest hours of need and anxiety.

Jesus is your answer today.  Above Him there’s no other.  Jesus is the way.  Have a terrific day.  Stay in tune to His Word, and keep asking yourself… “What GOOD REPORTS am I expecting today?”
