Oh What A Beautiful Morning ♫♫♫

What a beautiful morning we awoke to today.  The sky was a bright blue, the sun was slowing rising on the horizon and the temperature although a little crisp, definitely had the feel of the warmth of late spring.  Days like today just can’t help but get me thinking about the goodness of God.  He created the green hills that surround our community, the tall Redwood trees, the towering Oaks, the little gray squirrel that likes to take acorns from our side patio (while infuriating our dog!), and even the musical tones of the lone bird that has sung outside our bedroom window every morning for the last month, and He did it all just to bless us, His kids!

If He thinks it’s important to bless us through our surroundings, just think about how much He must care for each of us personally.  Matthew 6:26 says “Look at the birds.  They don’t plant, harvest or gather the harvest into barns.  Yet, your heavenly Father feeds them.  Aren’t you worth more than they?”  (Gods Word ©)  Sometimes we may feel like nobody cares for us.  But it is important to remember that God cares more than we can imagine.  All we have to do is reach out, take His hand, and then allow Him to comfort us, guide us and meet the various needs in our lives.

So the next time you feel left out, take a look out the window and notice how the bright shining sun makes everything grow and prosper around you.  Then open up the window to your heart and let the Son of the living God cause you to grow and prosper in the endeavors of your life.  Stay tuned and keep asking yourself… “What am I expecting today?”
